Joining Alicia Keys on her incredible UK arena shows is reggae singer Stephen Marley. Stephen has been a reggae star since the age of seven, releasing his first single Playing in the Streets, alongside his siblings Ziggy, Cedella, Sharon; known collectively as the Melody Makers. Last year Stephen released his first solo album Mind Control, stepping to center stage for the first time in his 27-year career. The driving creative force behind his brothers music, his writing and production credits recently earned him 2 more Grammy awards giving him a total of five: more than any other Marley family member or reggae artist in history.
2008 has seen Alicia Keys soar to even greater heights, winning 2 Grammys and her 3rd studio album As I am selling over a million copies. The album includes a Lesson Learned featuring blues guitarist John Mayer and Prelude to a Kiss produced by the hit maker Timbaland.
Referred to by critics as Todays Aretha Franklin, Keys has successfully established herself as one of the worlds leading vocalists. Bursting on to the scene in 2001 with her critically acclaimed debut album Songs in A Minor, Keys delivered a musical hybrid of soul, hip hop, jazz and classical. That was followed up in 2003 with the stellar album Diary of Alicia Keys, spurning the soul classic You Dont Know My Name.
